Information according to the battery laws

As our batteries and accumulators can be contained in our shipments, we are obligated according to the battery law (BattG) to point out the following:
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in the household waste, but you are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators.
Waste batteries can contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if stored or disposed of incorrectly.

The sign with the crossed-out wheeled bin means that you are not allowed to dispose of batteries or accumulators in domestic waste.
