In contrast to the MagCodePower system, which is only magnetically contacting and thus "self-isolated", the second product generation, the MagCodePowerSystemPro, has an additional mechanical interlock. This ensures that the switching (3) takes place only after the external contact (2). Thus, the MagCodePowerSystemPro does not have any arc faults and the system is thus suitable even for future 42V applications

 

MagCodePowerSystemPro takes MagCodePowerSystem to the next generation by using an additional mechanical twist lock. This guarantees, that the switching (3) does not happen before the outside contact (2) has been closed. Therefore the MagCodePowerSystemPro does not have any arcing problem and has been tested for compatibility in future 42V applications.
