Digital ignition lock with RFID technology
The m.lock is a non-contact, digital ignition lock with RFID technology and replaces mechanical ignition locks or their electrical switching function.
The associated digital key / key is only approximated to the m.lock (switching distance approx. 40-50mm) and the ignition switches on or off contactlessly, as if by magic.
The m.lock is based on state-of-the-art RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) and, unlike, for example, radio remote controls, is extremely tamper-proof. Each key is unique through its digital code.
Only the right digital code can operate the m.lock. Neither key / key nor m.lock can wear out mechanically. The m.lock itself switches a car relay, which can be loaded with up to 40A - that is enough for every vehicle network.
The hidden mounting of the small m.lock behind non-metallic parts, e.g. behind a side cover made of plastic, allows the complete removal of the mechanical ignition. Clean optics and creative freedom are guaranteed. Ideal options especially for custom bikes.
The optionally available 'Glass Tube' is so small (3 x 13 mm) that it can be used e.g. can be sewn into the glove. It should be noted, however, that the Glass Tube-Key has a reduced range of 5-10mm switching distance. The supplied 2 standard keys (teardrop) are the size of a key fob.
All keys / keys can be bought similar to a key blank and then 'learned' to the respective m.lock.
It is recommended not to use the m.lock in conjunction with an immobilizer. Ask your dealer / manufacturer if the immobilizer can be disabled.
RFID technology is tamper-proof
each key has a unique code
Key / Key switches the m.lock contactlessly and the entire on-board network via the relay
Key / Key and m-Lock are not subject to mechanical wear
no key is required in the key / key - thus no failure possible
Indirect switching via 40A load relay No overloading or scorching of contacts possible
the m.lock is very small and can be mounted hidden in many places
the m.lock is completely potted and thus water and vibration resistant
Depending on the type, keys / keys are very small (key fob) to tiny (glass tubes) and can also be integrated into objects such as gloves, clothing, tags (non-metallic), etc.
Keys Can be simply bought and 'learned' at the m.lock - thus the locksmith is already integrated
by the switching distance of about 4-5cm the non-contact, convenient switching on and off is guaranteed safe, but precluded an unintentional operation
an integrated LED indicates the status of the m.lock during assembly and connection as well as when learning new keys
